Shabana Maqsood
Shabana Maqsood studied Zoology and Microbiology before going on to complete a Master’s in Genetics. Alongside her scientific training, she developed a deep personal interest in Urdu, which led to a career spanning over thirty years at Jang as a translator and interpreter. She has also taught Urdu to children at the Urdu Ujala School in Wembley, and is an award-winning poetess.
